Irish Terriers are friendly, devoted, and protective with their people, and should be well-socialized as puppies. This breed likes to chase and dig. Irish Terriers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard, and if they get enough exercise they generally behave quite well indoors.

Irish Terrier Trivia: The Irish Terrier breed is about 2,000 years old. The Tramp in Lady and the Tramp is supposed to resemble an Irish Terrier.
