Irish Terriers are great with kids who play hard. This breed needs early, firm obedience training. Irish Terriers are not a good choice for a home with other pets. Irish Terriers are friendly, devoted, and protective with their people, and should be well-socialized as puppies. This breed likes to chase and dig. Irish Terriers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard, and if they get enough exercise they generally behave quite well indoors.
